“Let us cast the eye of our imagination on to the risen body of Jesus. To the wicked he appears severe and frightening; his resurrection is a living reproach of their sinfulness. But to the righteous he appears beautiful and attractive. The wicked want to flee from him; the righteous are drawn closer. The beauty which the risen Jesus possessed is the same beauty which we are promised if we obey him; all who rise in Christ shall share his radiance.”

A bit of a top up

Off for a few days with fellow Spiritual Directors to look at the dynamics of St Ignatius’ Spiritual Exercises. It will be great to be back at St Beuno’s in North Wales where I made the Full Exercises back in 2012. How time flies.
