It is always lovely to hear from my Heal sponsor child, Sujatha, and this morning brought an e-mail from her at Heal Village near Guntur. Heal (Health and Education for All) is a fantastic charity that runs a childrens’ village – largely for orphans – in Andhra Pradesh and has rural poverty uplift programmes throughout the area. I was fortunate to visit the village a couple of years ago and the work they do is wonderful. The children come from many faith backgrounds and they are raised to honour each others’ traditions. Sujatha sent photos of their Christmas celebrations.
